Akefa Azu is a performance artist, stage actress, librettist, storyteller, and mixed media visual artist. She is also a retired Life, Wellness, Business, Relationship, and Spiritual Coach. She is trained in Theravadan Samatha Meditation as an instructor, Traditional Birth Attendant, and Doula. She used to facilitate live workshops on holistic health and nutrition, as well as on entheogenic plant medicines, intuition development, and environmental consciousness. She continues to practice dream interpretation and the Mystic arts of personal development.

Barry Jones

SOUND ENGINEER, AUDIO MAGIC MAN

Barry Jones is the wizard supporting the magic Akefa weaves. He contributes to the project as a background vocalist, trumpeter, bass player, studio engineer, and co-conspirator.

Located in the Slocan Valley, his studio Sincerity Sound is the safe haven away from the home studio. His input has earned him the title "Shaman of Sound" as he assists Akefa in breathing a renewing force into her works while making her audio visions a reality in the studio.
