This past week has been very productive as I have been planning the cover and content for my upcoming release of the EP Immortal. Here Greg Landry is making the puppets for the music video/photoshoot for the album cover at my pad. It was a chilly wintery Wednesday but inside it was warm with laughter, good music, and exceptional company.
I'm so honored to be working with such a great visual artist. I will be putting more of his art up in the gallery soon. Stay tuned for more information!!!
I have been on a bit of a break to recoup my energies as this winter has been challenging. I injured myself pushing snow in my yard, which this whole winter has resembled an ice rink. I'm looking forward to healing up and getting back in the studio with the lovely Barry Jones to finish up recording, mixing and mastering. Soon all will be revealed and the new Akefa will emerge to tantalize your ears, minds, and hearts!
This day was such fun though, tea, herb, and snacks... Cuddly animals. Creative inspiration. Good Company and a toasty woodstove. What more could a gal like me want?
